Interests and focal points:

Carolin Johannsens research priorities are smart environments, adaptive affective system and multisensory data processing.
Within scientific test she collects empirical data about the behaviour and the expieriencing of biological systems, espically of humans and bees. She evaluates the collected data using methods of machine learning and soft computing. The knowledge and algorithms thus obtained help develop technical assistance systems.
