Die Bedeutung des analytischen Signals in Bildanalyse und Bildcodierung
by ,
Abstract:
The representation of natural images by means of the analytical signal has certain principal advantages particular for textural components. A multi-channel model scheme is presented which enables to describe the distinctness of the textural impression and the difference between textures in analogy with the human observer. The role of phase and amplitude of the analytical signal in image representations is considered. As a result an effective image coding scheme is derived
